Welcome to my playground! I'm a self-taught jewelry artist/metalsmith and have been creating jewelry since 2009. I work in silver, copper, bronze, brass, and - when the funds allow - gold. I am also a self-professed rockhound, aka lapidary. I cut, grind, and polish the stones I set. You'll notice in a lot my listings, I'll photograph the raw slab that the finished stone came from. I am crazy about moving metal and creating fabulous, wearable art with the materials that Mother Nature provides.
My Journey
My journey into jewelry design started back in 2009. I’ve been a jewelry addict since I was a little girl. In the early 2000s, I began making jewelry as a side business, primarily bead stringing and wire wrapping, hitting the show circuit in Tampa, Florida. Shows were challenging with sweltering heat, wind, and rain. My last show at a winery ended with a storm blowing my jewelry into a field, prompting me to rethink my approach.
Joining a local mineral and science club changed everything. I fell in love with silversmithing and learned to cut, grind, and polish stones into cabochons. This opened a fascinating world of stones and minerals. Since then, I’ve mastered techniques like enameling, textures, broom casting, inlay, and more. My designs are inspired by stones, metal textures, nature, or even a piece of clothing, resulting in varied styles. Each piece is a labor of love, created from the heart.
